Join an upcoming opportunity to network and information share with tourism industry partners from across Hamilton, Halton and Brant, at the Heart of Ontario (tourism) Marketing and Experience Development Industry Exchange.
This new tourism industry exchange format will include an educational/training component, industry exchange of information to encourage pan-regional industry collaborations, regional tourism updates and leveraging of industry partner initiatives to grow tourism receipts.
Provincial agency RTO3 "Heart of Ontario" is launching the new format for the upcoming Fall industry gathering taking place on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 and will include an educational component that will focus on Chinese Market Readiness. This session will be facilitated by Sonya Stevenson, Marketing and Trade Consultant from Destination Ontario. Session topics covered will include:
- Profiles of Chinese travellers
- Preferred payment methods
- Cultural insights and communication tips
- Needs and wants of Chinese visitors
- Mobile and social media landscape of China
