Incentives

The Town of Halton Hills Community Improvement Plan (CIP) offers financial incentives to stimulate private sector investment and revitalization. CIP programs are individually tailored to address key community improvement issues throughout Halton Hills, including:

Since 2017, the Town has provided 22 applicants with over $246,000 in grants, stimulating over $1.2 million in total investment to the Halton Hills community. ​

The Economic Development Manufacturing Expansion Fund (MEF) helps businesses in Halton Hills grow.  When manufacturing businesses expand their facilities, the MEF will cover the cost of Town fees, including Site Plan, Site Alteration, Minor Variance, Cash in Lieu of Parkland, and fees related to obtaining Conditional Building Permits.  Eligibility criteria include:

The Town of Halton Hills is launching a Business Concierge Program to provide an elevated customer service experience and fast-track the approvals of strategic non-residential development projects.
