Halton Hills, ON – The Town continued its advocacy efforts for local businesses, approving a motion at Monday’s Council Meeting that called on the Provincial and Federal Governments to further invest in the Digital Main Street Program.
Ontario Small Business Support Grant Now Available
In response to the shutdown measures beginning December 26, 2020, the provincial government is offering one-time grants of a minimum of $10,000 and up to $20,000 to eligible businesses to help navigate the new province wide shutdown.

Halton Hills, ON - As the numbers of COVID-19 cases continue to rise daily, the Government of Ontario is instituting a province-wide shutdown, 28 days for southern Ontario and 14 days for northern Ontario, to commence on Saturday, December 26 at 12:01 am.

Halton Regional Council passed Regional by-law 47-20, making it mandatory to wear a mask/face covering in certain enclosed public places, with some exemptions. The by-law is in effect as of 12:01 a.m.
