Halton Region Small Business Centre supports the formation, management and growth of business with their comprehensive resource centre which offers training, expertise and tools to guide your business. Support is free or low-cost. Visit Halton SBC. 

 

Province of Ontario Resources:

Province of Ontario Business and Economy webpages contain a large collection of business information and resources, including details on starting and operating a business, economic development, export and trade, infrastructure and more.

 

Province of Ontario also runs, through it's network of Small Business Enterprise Centres, two entrepreneurship programs which offer funding:

Summer Company entrepreneurship program, Students ages 15-29.

Starter Company Plus entrepreneurship program, Young Adults 18 and over, no longer in school.

Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary business association of business and professional men and women who have joined together to improve the civic and business welfare of Halton Hills. The Chamber is The Voice of Business for the community.  Visit the Chamber's website.

Downtown Georgetown Business Improvement Area (BIA) purpose is to encourage more visits and ultimately increased traffic and sales in their downtown business district. The GBIA works to make Downtown Georgetown a destination for its retailers, restaurants, and professional firms. BIAs function best through the united co-operation of each and every business. Downtown Acton Business Improvement Area (BIA) The ABIA works to make Downtown Acton a destination for its retailers, restaurants, and other businesses. The goals of the ABIA include revitalizing the downtown area through regular maintenance, facade improvement, streetscape and public art programs, special events and festivals, and municipal partnership.
