Incentives

The Town of Halton Hills Community Improvement Plan (CIP) offers financial incentives to stimulate private sector investment and revitalization. CIP programs are individually tailored to address key community improvement issues throughout Halton Hills, including:

Since 2014, the Town has processed 29 successful applications. To date, approximately $350,000 of public sector investment has been allocated towards various community improvement projects.

The Economic Development Manufacturing Expansion Fund (MEF) helps businesses in Halton Hills grow.  When manufacturing businesses expand their facilities, the MEF will cover the cost of Town fees, including Site Plan, Site Alteration, Minor Variance, Cash in Lieu of Parkland, and fees related to obtaining Conditional Building Permits.  Eligibility criteria include:

The Town of Halton Hills offers Development Charge reductions and exemptions to eligible properties. Properties eligible for receiving Development Charge exemptions and reductions are below:
